Our love story began in a very modern way (online) but from the very first messages, it was clear that God was doing something intentional. Avie was drawn to Parker’s quiet strength and the way he lived out the fruits of the Spirit. Parker was equally moved by Avie’s heart for the gospel and her commitment to evangelism. Even across the distance, the Lord was knitting our hearts together in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Our first date was simple and sweet: a walk through a nature reserve, Chick-fil-A in hand, and Avie’s puppy Leo leading the way. From that day on, our relationship deepened quickly. Through prayer, laughter, and long conversations, we discovered not just a growing love, but a shared calling—to follow Jesus together, wherever He leads. Through seasons of joy and challenge, the Lord has used each moment to strengthen our bond and remind us that love is not just a feeling, but a daily decision rooted in grace. We believe that every step of our story has been guided by God’s hand. As we enter into marriage, we do so with grateful hearts, excited to spend our lives pursuing Christ, and each other, forever.
