Desert Breeze Park - Great for kids!
Has grassy areas, sports fields, pavilion spaces, picnic areas, and a lake. The park boasts a multi-use field, tennis courts, diamond fields, and a volleyball court. Walking paths wind around the lake and through the park, dotted with several shady pavilions to take a break. Don't miss the Hummingbird Habitat to see native plants that attract local pollinators. A playground and seasonal splash pad provide a variety of amenities for kids to explore. Desert Breeze Railroad - Explore the park on the rails! The Desert Breeze Express provides fun and entertainment for all ages. Spirit House Cocktails and Kitchen
This place has excellent cocktails. It is part of the SanTan Brewery company (it is right next to the brewery). The mixologists know what they are doing...and some cocktails come standard with chocolate chip cookies. Just saying....
Desert Botanical Garden
140-acre botanical garden - really accentuates the uniqueness of the Sonoran Desert. Founded by the Arizona Cactus and Native Flora Society in 1937[1] and established at this site in 1939, the garden now has more than 50,000 plants in more than 4,000 taxa, one-third of which are native to the area, including 379 species which are rare, threatened or endangered. Of special note are the rich collections of agave (4,026 plants in 248 taxa) and cacti (13,973 plants in 1,320 taxa), especially the Opuntia sub-family. Plants from less extreme climate conditions are protected under shadehouses. It focuses on plants adapted to desert conditions, including an Australian collection, a Baja California collection and a South American collection. Several ecosystems are represented: a mesquite bosque, semi-desert grassland, and upland chaparral. Desert Botanical Garden has been designated as a Phoenix Point of Pride.

SanTan Gardens known for craft beer, spirits, and live entertainment. It is a brewery and distillery where you can take a behind-the-scenes tour to explore their process of brewing and distilling. They often have live music and a laid-back atmosphere.
Musical Instrument Museum
The Musical Instrument Museum is located in Phoenix, Arizona. Opened in April 2010, it is the largest museum of its type in the world. The collection of over 15,000 musical instruments and associated objects includes examples from nearly 200 countries and territories, representing every inhabited continent.
