Aviana and Mike met on a dating app, but little did they know that they lived just under a mile from each other most of their lives. Their first date was at a park near where they both lived. Aviana actually sent her location to her best friend (CJ, one of her MOHs) because she seconded guessed her decision to meet a complete stranger at a park for a first date lol. She was worried he might try to kidnap her or something. On that first date they discovered they both had the same taste in music. They also realized they had the same favorite colors, hence their wedding colors being red and black. It just felt meant to be right from the start. Aviana vividly remembers leaving the first date thinking, "There is just something about him." One other little fun fact for you, given that they had the same taste in music, they also learned that they had been at several of the same concerts and were in the crowd just a few feet from each other. They discovered this when Aviana shared a memory on her Facebook of a concert she was at a few years ago. Mike saw it and told her he was there and showed her a photo. When they compared photos they realized Mike was maybe 10 feet in front of where Aviana was standing. Seems like the universe always had plans for them to be together and was just waiting for the right moment.
