What's that old saying? We met at a bar...called Township. A staple of our Florida State University weekends and the place that will forever hold the title of where it all began. That night almost didn't happen. One of us was fully committed to the couch when a roommate suggested heading out to meet his coworkers. Something said go anyway - and thankfully, that instinct won. Despite trying (and failing) to resist a one-of-a-kind "Joe Exotic", the chemistry was immediate. The conversation was effortless, the laughs came easily, and it was impossible not to notice Avi's gentle personality - and how absolutely gorgeous she was. From that night on, we haven't gone a single day without talking. Soon after, a Super Bowl party (and a forgotten purse) turned into fate working overtime. Making sure that purse was returned - flowers in hand - on Valentine's Day felt right. It wasn't officially our Valentine's Day yet...but one of us already knew it would be. From realizing we lived on the same street back home, to shooting stars and little moments that felt too perfect to be coincidence, fate kept nudging us closer together. Since graduating, life has brought us back to Naples, where we've bought a home, added some fur - Roo Shmoo and Nala Bean - and grown closer every step of the way. We are so grateful for the life we've built, and now we're ready for the next chapter - as husband and wife!
