FAQs

Question

How are you handling COVID-19 precautions?

Answer

While we will not require our guests to wear masks or social distance, we encourage those who would feel more comfortable to wear a mask and we will be providing hand sanitizer for each guest.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we prefer our guests to have a night out without the presence of little eyes and ears, we understand that the location may present challenges in obtaining childcare. We would hate for this to deter you from coming, so please bring your children if needed.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire should be cocktail/semi-formal. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Plan for winter weather, however, Texas throws out temperatures like the powerball lottery. We recommend checking the weather within 3 days of your arrival and plan accordingly.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail hour area where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you send your RSVP card back to our home address so it is received no later than September 30th.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "respectfully declines" so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please see our "Travel" section of our website to find information on nearest airports and hotels.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Please visit our "Registry" page to see where we are registered.

Question

I have a food allergy! What should I do?

Answer

If you have a life-threatening food allergy please make sure to let us know so we can make dinner arrangements for you.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag, #choosingchastain, so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please reach out to Claire or Joey at their cell phone numbers or the wedding email at chastainaverywedding@gmail.com to have any additional questions answered.
