Tyler and Avery’s story began long before they imagined it would turn into a lifelong love. They first met in kindergarten and grew up side by side, walking the same hallways from childhood through high school. What started as a friendship blossomed into something more, and by November of 2018, they officially began dating. Their very first “date” was a trip to the lake to search for Tyler’s supposedly lost sunglasses. After hours of searching, Avery later discovered that the sunglasses were never lost at all—it was simply Tyler’s clever excuse to spend more time with her. That lake became a special place in their hearts, holding the memory of where it all began. Since then, Tyler and Avery have grown together through every season of life. From finishing high school to navigating college, starting new jobs, and building their adult life together, they’ve supported each other through every change and milestone. With each new chapter, their bond has only deepened. In May of 2025, life came full circle. At that same lake where they shared their first “date,” Tyler got down on one knee and asked Avery the easiest question she’s ever answered: “Will you marry me?” Now, after years of love, laughter, and growing side by side, they can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter—surrounded by the family and friends who have been part of their journey all along.
