We first met at a homeschool lock-in. We did not become close until 2022. Avery invited me to a formal dance. He looked terrific in his cowboy hat and blazer. I felt like I was the luckiest woman alive. After that night, we began talking daily and socializing more. God moved us closer together over the next several months.

It was May 25, 2023, when Avery asked me to be his wife. Avery was riding home on a train that left from Chicago. He was planning on waiting to propose in July, but he couldn't wait until I came home from Michigan. We are so excited to start our next chapter. God has definitely played a huge role in bringing us together.
