It all started at The Rutledge in Franklin-fancy vibes, great lighting, and one very nervous person (me) trying not to look like I’d rehearsed my entrance. I got there first, and the hostess glided me to a table in the center of the restaurant, like I was starring in a rom-com. Naturally, I texted Marc: “When you get here, act like we’ve known each other our entire lives.” Spoiler Alert: it worked a little too well. From the moment he sat down, it was like we’d skipped the awkward small talk and jumped straight into the good stuff-laughs, stories, and that weirdly magical feeling of “Wait …do I know you from somewhere? “ We talked and laughed until the restaurant was empty and the staff was probably Googling how to politely kick out lingering lovebirds. Since that night, we’ve been stuck together like glue. Like Forrest Gump Said: “We go together like peas and carrot.” (Although let’s be honest-Marc’s more the carrot, I’m definitely the pea.) Now, six years later, we’re making it official. We’re tying the knot,throwing a party, and celebrating with all our favorite people.
