What date should we RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than Wednesday, July 1st.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We'd love for our guests to join us in polished, elevated attire. We are requesting suits and ties, cocktail dresses, midi dresses, dressy separates, or elegant jumpsuits. Think classic, refined, and celebration-ready.

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?
Answer
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.

What is the address of the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception will take place at The Georgian Hall, located in downtown Athens. The address is 247 E Washington St Unit 103, Athens, GA 30601. Both the ceremony and reception will take place inside with air conditioning.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Please note that our invitations are for the individuals listed and we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Are kids invited?
Answer
Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your last name} Family” if your children have been invited and “Mr. and Mrs.” if only you and your significant other have been invited.

How early can I arrive to the venue?
Answer
Guests will be able to be seated starting at 3:30PM. The ceremony will promptly begin at 4:00PM.

Is it okay to have phones out during the ceremony?
Answer
Please leave your phones silenced in your purse/pockets during the ceremony. We want this to be an unplugged ceremony and want everyone to be present during this time. This includes not taking any pictures during the ceremony. Thank you!

Where should I park?
Answer
There is street metered parking throughout downtown, as well as the Athens Court House Parking Deck next door. There is also the College Avenue Deck and the Washington Street Deck. Additional information can be found here: https://www.accgov.com/7154/Parking-Decks-Parking There are also many Uber/Lyft drivers in the Athens-area.

Yes! We will be serving wine, beer, soda, tea, coffee, and water.

Where should I stay if I'll be spending the night in town?

There are several hotels within walking distance of the venue and that are close by. Please visit https://www.visitathensga.com/hotels/ to find a hotel best for you.

Will we see you on Sunday before we head home?
Answer
We are so excited to celebrate and see everyone Saturday, August 1st! We will be traveling to our honeymoon on Sunday, August 2nd.

What is there to do in Athens?
Answer
We absolutely love Athens and are so happy to call it our home. Visit https://www.visitathensga.com/things-to-do/ to find additional activities. August 1st is the start of many leases in the area so it can be busy, but the UGA fall semester does not start until August 17.
