Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is garden party attire. Guests may have to walk on grass.

Is there a fee to enter the Arboretum?

Answer

All guests of the wedding receive free admission to the Arboretum. Please let the Front Gate staff know that you are here for the Birt and Kampa wedding and you will be let in for free.

What can I see at the Arboretum?

Answer

Notable gardens near Oswald Visitor Center and Snyder Building include the Annual Garden, the Sensory Garden and Azalea Woodland Waterfall. Art galleries include the Reedy Art Gallery just beyond the Great Hall and the Cafe Gallery outside of Rootstock. The Andersen Horticultural Library will be open until 4:30 p.m.

How do I get to the ceremony site?

Answer

The venue provides a school bus to shuttle guests from the front of the Snyder Building to the Nelson Shrub Rose Garden for the ceremony. The shuttle will bring guests back from the Rose Garden to the Snyder Building for the reception.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Smoking is only permitted in vehicles parked in the parking lot.
