Yes. (But with less hazing for Jon and fewer people named Niko.)
No and no! In fact, the ceremony will be almost entirely in English, and we'll provide a guide to what's going on. And the great thing about Greek dancing is that anyone can do it (as evidenced by the fact that both Avery and Jon could manage it). Hop in line and join the fun, and don't worry – there will be plenty of non-Greek music too!
Cocktail attire will do wonderfully. Ladies, please note that the ceremony will be held in a Greek Orthodox cathedral; we ask that you bring something to cover your shoulders for the ceremony. You will not need to walk on grass at the reception. (However, Greeks like to stand a lot in church, so wear comfortable shoes!)
While we would love to see your shots from the reception, we respectfully request that you leave the photos to the pros during the ceremony itself so that you can celebrate the moment with us, rather than through your camera.
Entrée choices will include filet mignon, lamb chops, sea bass, and grilled halloumi (Cypriot cheese) with vegetables. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Yes. We will provide a bus from the hotel to the church, from the church to the reception, and from the reception back to the hotel.
