FAQs

Question

Should I carpool to the ceremony

Answer

Absolutely! Parking at Settlers Cove is quite limited, so we'd greatly appreciate it if you could arrange to carpool with fellow guests whenever possible!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Alaskan Formal! Gentlemen are welcome to wear their finest jeans, while ladies may choose from a dress, jumpsuit, formal top with appropriate bottoms, or any combination thereof.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We encourage you to enjoy an evening out alone, and we completely understand if childcare isn't an option. Children are welcome to celebrate with us. We simply ask that you help us keep the ceremony and key moments special by keeping little ones close during those times.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be songs I or my little one may have sensitive ears to?

Answer

There may be songs that contain explicit lyrics at various points throughout the reception, so please keep this in mind if you have concerns about content for younger guests.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Avery via text at (907) 617-9402. We kindly ask that you refrain from texting during the week leading up to the wedding. She will likely not respond.
