COVID-19 *PLEASE READ*

We know everyone is sick of talking about COVID, but the reality is we are still in a pandemic and there are quite a few people we love who have compromised immune systems and we want everyone to be able to celebrate with us. Because of this, Avery and Jess have decided to require that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. While we understand that not everyone wants to be vaccinated, we strongly believe that this is the best way for us to keep everyone we love (including each other) safe and healthy. As of now, there is not a mask mandate in place at our venue, and with everyone in attendance being vaccinated, we are comfortable with not requiring masks at the wedding. We want to see all of your faces! :) If the venue does at any point require masks, we will let you know here, so keep checking this page! (As of late august there is not one, so we’re pretty sure we’re clear on this one!) We truly and deeply appreciate your respect and kindness regarding this manner.
Question

Can I wear a mask if I’m nervous?

Answer

10000000% wear all the masks you want. If you are uncomfortable without a mask, we are happy to have disposable masks available at our reception.❤️

Question

Will you be upset if I don’t attend because of COVID concerns?

Answer

Listen. COVID is scary and exhausting and we have no idea what the future holds in regard to it. If you are worried about traveling, being in a hotel, attending an indoor event, etc, etc, etc, please please please know that we love and respect you and your health and absolutely no one should feel pressured to attend our wedding. If you need or want to stay home based on what the state of the world is in the Fall, we will understand completely.

Question

Should I stay home if I’m unwell?

Answer

Please please stay home if you’re feeling sick. We all know what the symptoms to look out for are, if you are not feeling well, we will understand and appreciate you staying home and getting better.

Question

Will you be upset if I don’t attend because I’m not vaccinated?

Answer

Absolutely not! Please know that we love and respect you and your decisions fully. Do not feel bad if you can’t attend because of this, there are absolutely no hard feelings at all. We understand that a requirement like this might be an issue for some, and we truly are sorry and will miss you, but Jess has terminally ill family members and their health needs to be prioritized. We do hope you understand. Please reach out to us if you have an issue or question, we are more than happy to discuss options with you.💕
