As Avery’s older sister, Katy has been there since Day 1. She used to call her dolls “Avery” and then throw them down the stairs. Things have gotten better since then.

Tricia and Avery met in elementary school in Canton, Connecticut, and along with fellow bridesmaids Chelsea and Marla, were best friends ever since. Tricia lives in Chicago, IL with the her husband Matt and little baby boy Charlie.

Marla and Avery met in 2nd grade in Canton, CT and were convinced that they were sisters because their dogs were from the same dog breeder. Marla lives in Denver, CO with her husband, Chris, and dog, Paul. Marla is an honorary bridesmaid as she’s due with a baby boy on Avery’s wedding day!

Neil is J.D’s longtime friend and comedic foil. Neil is a neurologist at Northwestern and lives with his partner, Emily, in Chicago. Ask him about that one speech he gave in high school.

Pete and J.D. first met at the renowned weekly Tuesday trivia night at Will’s Northwoods Inn. They built their friendship over discount PBR’s on many Tuesdays to follow. Pete is husband to Sheila, dad to Jamie + another boy on the way, and a wealth management advisor in Chicago.

Sol is J.D.’s brother-in-law and real estate consigliere. He’s the incredible dad to the wedding’s flower girls Eleanor and Margot, and loving husband to officiant Amanda Gaddam.
Mac LeBuhn
Groomsman
Mac and J.D. lived together for two years with five other male roommates in an off-campus house at Northwestern. Their mothers wisely refused to enter the home when they visited. Mac now leads a more respectable life as a husband to Helen, father to Eleanor, and Associate at Bartlit Beck in Chicago.
Toby Fallsgraff
Groomsman
Toby and J.D. met working on the 2012 Obama campaign. Since then Toby has been J.D.'s boss multiple times, yet still hasn't been able to fix him. The two of them share an abiding love for trivia, beer, wordplay, politics, and digital organizing. Toby lives in Chicago with his wife Laura and children Ruby and Elliott.
Amanda Gaddam

In addition to her role as Officiant, Amanda is the sister to the groom, wife to a groomsman, and mother of the flower girls. So if something at the wedding goes wrong, you know who to blame. Amanda is also a member of the faculty at DePaul University and a die-hard Cubs fan.

Eleanor is Amanda's & Sol's daughter, and Margot's big sister. Her passions include the ocean, being kind to others, and Nintendo.

Margot is Eleanor’s little sister, and daughter to Amanda & Sol. She loves Encanto, wardrobe changes, and drama.

Mother of the Groom
Kelly is J.D.'s mom, and lives with David in southwest Wisconsin. She passed down her interests in gardening and cooking. Her expertise in golf and paper crafts did not make it. Kelly's motto is "Do your best and keep a smile on your face."
David Bryant
Father of the Groom
Everything you know about David can be summed up by the time he took a 9-year-old J.D. on a 90-mile bike ride in Iowa at the end of July. David wound up in the hospital after giving up so much of his own water that he almost passed out himself. He's a rock-solid dad, grandpa, and husband. He lives with Kelly in southwest Wisconsin.
