Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Hannah Scott and Avery Dickmeyer
Please welcome our family and friends walking down the isle with us at the ceremony!

Hannah Scott

Bride

Meet Hannah, the bride. Born on September 27, 1998, she has since made many friends through her kind, approachable, and honest personality. Described as a little endearingly weird at times, she has embraced this title with the sort of gumption of someone at peace with their open-mindedness of the universe and its workings, optimism, and love of following their own path to explore the unknown. She enjoys hiking in nature, flowering gardening, and loves her friends and family dearly. Hannah met Avery in high school when they were Freshman. Consistently placed in math classes together led to a kindhearted but distant friendship until their Senior year when Avery asked her out on a date. Hannah describes her love for Avery as patient and tender as his partnership throughout the years has brought her much joy and comfort when she needed it most. Avery encourages her to be her weird and kind self she says she never takes that for granted.

Avery Dickmeyer

Groom

Born on September 2, 1999 in Clovis, California, Avery grew up in the foothills of Oakhurst his whole life. He loves playing video games with his friend and has developed a love for short hikes over the years on occasion. Described as polite and relatively quiet, don't let this exterior fool you. Inside, he can be unpredictably goofy and yet have a sarcastically dry humor at times which presents a delightful combination of qualities his friends and Hannah adore. Avery met Hannah during their Freshman year of High School through shared friends and maintained a polite, but distant friendship while they sat next to each other in their shared math classes (Awww). It was not until Senior year when Hannah beamed into his life again and ran off with his affections with her giggles in the wake of her bass drum (yes she was a band nerd), hairbows, and pair of bright yellow sneakers. An entry from Hannah's Senior yearbook written from Avery: "To the person who has made life a wonderland and has made me absolutely happy." - Avery

Maddy Raco

Maid of Honor

Meet Maddy Raco, my maid of honor and one of my dearest friends. Essentially a sister to me, Maddy and I became friends in 7th grade! She's seen me at my highest and lowest points in my life and has been a lifeline to honest communication, fun conversations about literally any subject you could think of, and she would climb mountains for people. She loves nature and hiking just as almost as I do. Cheers to all the wildness, peace, creativity, and adventure that is Maddy, she is a very interesting person and a heck of a friend.

Finn Dickmeyer

Bridesman

Beloved sibling of Avery, Finn is an alumni of University of San Luis Obispo. Hannah and Finn were in marching band for several years together in high school and developed a lighthearted friendship defined by Hannah's eccentric sense of humor of an upperclassman at the time and Finn's bewilderment at her fun antics during band events. Hannah actually recalls asking more about Avery after he had taken her on their first date. The words "He's a little odd and nerdy, but nice" came the classic, teasing description from Finn that any sibling would provide to their brother's crush. Finn has since been a ray of sunshine in both Hannah and Avery's lives and they are proud.

Jaimar Jackson

Best Man

One of Avery's closest friends, Avery met Jaimar online through Xbox and they have been playing video game together since. Jay actually lives in Ohio but has been able to fly out to California to visit Avery and Hannah. Described as loud, funny, and carefree Jay is often a jolly fellow who loves to share a good laugh, watch a few good movies with friends, and talk. At the end of the day, you can always expect him to have chill vibes.

Adam Scott

Groomsman

Look out! It's a U.S. P-51 Mustang! No, a F6F Hellcat! Hmm...Maybe a rocket? Nope, it's Hannah's older brother Adam! Meet one the groomsman, an accomplished aerospace engineer of several years, Adam has always had a deep love of the sky and the stars. Specifically, the engineered machines that fly through them. Not only does he lift humans into the air, but he also uplifts other people up with his kindness, Whenever Hannah needs her older brother, he is always there. From giving rides home from cross-country practice, late-night, 4-hour long Zoom calls over Physics lab assignments, to advice spoken from the wisdom of someone who has definitely seen his sister do some silly things, Adam has always been there. For this Hannah is grateful and couldn't ask for a better brother (even though "you are stinky" claims Hannah).
