06.28 - The night we met ✨ Avery was getting dinner with her friend Claire. Little did she know, she would meet Gui just about an hour after this picture was taken!

07.07 - Our first “official” date ✨ Gui chose the restaurant Fresko for our first “official” date. It was so yummy and had lots of gluten free food! Gui has been considerate from the very beginning 🤍

07.21 - Our first picture together ✨ This is still one of our favorite dates! We went to Bravo and talked about our future plans and goals. We realized how much we really have in common!

08.24 - Avery’s first trip to Fayette, MO ✨ This picture is from the first of many weekend trips to Fayette. Avery got to see where Gui went to college, played soccer, and hung out with friends!

11.26 - Gui visits for Thanksgiving ✨ Gui visited Avery in Des Moines and celebrated Thanksgiving with family. We love a photo booth if you couldn’t tell (hence some of our engagement photos)! ;)

12.29 - Our first family trip ✨ The Staats fam took on KC for the holidays! We cannot wait for trips and holidays spent with Gui’s family, too 🤍

02.22 - Lots of soccer games ✨ Many weekends during the winter/spring consisted of soccer, and we loved it!
