Eric and Avery met freshman year at Tompkins High School in 2016 where they dated for one whole week before calling it off! In four short years, they rekindled their spark while Eric attended Texas Tech University and Avery attended the University of Montevallo. They began long distance dating freshman year of college where they broke the record for most facetime minutes in a single year. Eventually, they both ended up at Texas A&M University, where they spent their final two and a half years of college together, building lifelong memories with friends and with each other. In 2022, they adopted their first dog together named Diggs and he has been the joy of their lives. They both graduated from Texas A&M in December 2024, with Eric beginning his career in Houston and Avery returning to school to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. On December 20th, 2025, Eric popped the question at the Lake Plaza in Houston, Texas. As they embark on this exciting chapter ahead, they are so grateful for all the friends and family that have been and will continue to be apart of their journey!
