Maid of Honor
Hello, I am Shamanee. I met Dominique in the seventh grade during the after-school program. Our similar personalities and interests glued the foundation that has been our 10+ year friendship. We've grown up and done almost everything together from school projects, going on trips, and spending late night hours creating hypothetical business ideas (most of which never saw the light of day). I met Avery through Dominique when they were friends. Ever since he was introduced, he has been a grounding force in Dominique's life and an integral member of our friend group. Both of them compliment each other so well! Their intelligence, creativity, humor, and shared love for filmmaking make them such an amazing couple. A recent special memory I have with the bride & groom is when we had a picnic in the park (p.s. they make the BEST charcuterie boards ever). I am so lucky and grateful to know these two special people and get to witness their marriage. If you see me in the wedding please say hello! When I am not working as a social media coordinator or as Dominque's right hand woman, I love to walk my dog Max (I will happily show you pictures if you ask me), frequent boba shops, and read!
Wedding Party
Hallo there, My name is J'cyn Crawley & I am the cousin of this delightful groom. I've known Avery for almost my entire life. As long as I've known him, Avery has always possessed ambitions. Ambitions to win, ambitions to succeed, and ambitions to always move to the beat of his own drum. When I first met Dominique was when they invited me & my girlfriend to hang out with them & I was extremely excited. We went to the Jelly Belly factory and went back to his parents house to eat. From the way they talked and the connection they showed, it seemed like they had been dating forever! I'm glad I get to be around with one of my closest cousins getting married! If you happen to catch a glimpse of me out and about then talk to me about anything!! I don't bite and I love to converse!

Hi I am Maha. I met Dominique when we were sophomores in high school. We were in the same history class and overtime she became one of my best friends. There are so many memories that we share that it’s hard to pick just one. But I can say is that I’m glad she’s my friend in every one of those memories. Should you see me at the wedding, come say hi! We can chat about anything, whether film, food, or fashion. As well as traveling and my long to read list!
Wedding Party
Hello, I am Tulsi. I don’t remember when I met Dominique, but it was sometime in junior high. We have been together for an insane amount of time from junior high to Long Beach for undergrad and we are close even now. I can’t think of one specific memory with Dominique, but I know she has always been there. Whether it was just eating lunch together in high school or forcing her to workout with me at the gym or studying at Panera for endless hours. If you see me at the wedding, please come say hi! I love meeting new people and I am down to talk about: any cool hiking spots, food, different cultures, and my constantly growing shoe collection.
Wedding Party
Hello, I am Sofia. I don’t actually remember meeting Dominique, that’s how long we’ve known each other! We’ve been friends since elementary school and stayed close throughout the years. During quarantine, we would stay up talking to each other on zoom. We talked until we watch our rooms illuminate with the sun rising. In a time of isolation, I felt closer to my friends than ever before. If you see me at the wedding, avoid me. Just kidding! I’m always done to talk about astrology, kpop (specifically stray kids!) and the importance of brown neutrals in your wardrobe.

Hi, my name is Mayte. In seventh grade, I moved to a new school where I didn’t know a single person. Dominique was the first person I talked to all day and was the first friend I made in a new school. We quickly bonded over making dumb jokes which hasn’t ended even after 10 years of friendship. We went from making blonde jokes in middle school to fangirling over BTS in Fullerton College. If you see me at the wedding, tell me your favorite crime documentary. I might be too busy competing with the kids though.
Officiant
Hi, I’m Cass and welcome to my bio for Avery and Dominique’s wedding site! I’m so excited to be here! I met the couple during our time together at Cal State Long Beach where we spent many days bringing stories to life as film students. It’s now an honor, as their friend and wedding officiant, to help them begin this next chapter of their own story. The love between these two brings me so much joy and I simply cannot wait to watch it grow through the years. If you see me at the wedding, come say hi and let’s exchange movie and show recommendations! (I have just about every streaming service, so the floor’s yours!) Speaking of floors, please join me on the dance floor should anything Abba start playing. Here’s to the big day! Cheers! <3
