Time to Geer Up!

They are a modern-day love story. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t meet your soulmate by sliding into the DM’s (Direct Messages). There's a debate over who made the first move, Dakota says Avery followed him first and began to deep like his pictures (liking old pictures on his profile). But Avery says it was Dakota who messaged her first and asked her on a date (he canceled, but we’ll get to that). Avery, unfamiliar with wrestling, thought she'd been blown off when Dakota messaged her on date night, (She was completely ready) to tell her he needed to “cut weight”, which she thought sounded fake. She told her sister she wouldn't reschedule, but she’s a liar and when he messaged the next day, she couldn’t say no to his charming good looks (Edited by Dakota). On the day of the rescheduled date, Avery again styled herself to perfection and a nervous Dakota frantically cleaned out his filthy car and carefully selected their cuisine. With Avery’s limited knowledge of wrestlers, she assumed he would be of a more “sturdy” build (short), so she curated an outfit that could be paired with heels or flats. She answered the door barefoot so she could first assess his height before her final shoe selection. She had also very thoughtfully locked her twin sister in the bedroom to avoid any confusion. Heels selected, their date was underway. Despite it being obvious to Dakota that Avery didn’t love Nooki (It’s a restaurant, calm down), sparks flew. After three dates and a couple of duals, they made it official December 28th, 2019. Since 2019, Avery hasn't missed a dual, she’s learned weight cutting is real, milking cows is hard, and road trips with your best friend are the best way to spend a summer. Dakota has learned throw pillows are a necessity, pictures are as important as the event itself, weiner dogs are the best dogs, Christmas starts November 1st, and home is wherever Avery and Andi (fur baby) are. 2 1/2 years and a puppy later, it is time to Geer up!
