Avery and I first crossed paths in the Spring of 2019 in a volleyball match where she ~definitely~ hit the ball out of the bounds and Veterans High School beat Mount De Sales. In the heat of the moment, our competitive nature blinded us from our true feelings for one another. When we officially met during our summer job at Chick-fil-A, it was love at second sight! Avery was a hard worker and really could pull off the sweaty look after working in the outside drive-thru in the middle Georgia heat. There was usually only a small part of our shifts that lined up, so I would always make sure to match my break with hers or go on break right as she got out to get her to stay and chat. We hit it off really well, and I decided it’s time to make the first big move, ask her on a date to Wingstop. I don’t think that was her forte but she liked me enough to go anyways. We connected very well, she was so kind, caring, very funny, and it helps that she happens to look like an angel. We started dating shortly thereafter and spent college together at UGA making countless memories, getting a great education, meeting fantastic people, and witnessing back to back UGA football championships. After UGA, I went off to work and Avery joined Mercer University ’s physician assistant program. Finally, in May of 2025, I proposed to Avery and we entered the fiance era. As riveting as it’s been, I am ready to move on the next stage! Nonetheless, I feel so blessed and am very fortunate to have her by my side. She is my rock and motivates me to be the best person I can be everyday. I am superrrrrr excited for our wedding and I cannot wait for YOU to join us!
