Our story began in May 2024, when we matched on Hinge. Blake asked me out for Cinco de Mayo—which just so happens to be my sister’s anniversary—and I probably should’ve known right then it was a good sign. After consulting my friends over summer beers at Katy Trail Ice House, I happily said yes. When I realized I had accidentally double-booked myself and needed to cancel, Blake still wanted to reschedule, and I’m so glad he did—because that simple second chance changed everything. Our first date was at my favorite, Chuy’s, followed by one of Blake's favorites, Chimy’s. What followed were months of late-night phone calls, countless dinner dates, and many drives back and forth between Grapevine and Fort Worth—none of which ever felt like a chore. Before we knew it, it was clear this was something special. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and the start of our forever with all of you.
