Acadia National Park
Our ceremony will be held near Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park but it is a beautiful place to explore during any time while you are in Maine! Our favorite spots include Schooner Head Overlook (where we got engaged), Jordan Pond, and the Carriage Trails which are great to explore with bikes.
Bar Harbor
Bar Harbor is the town right outside of Acadia. After getting engaged we enjoyed breakfast at Everyday Joe's, walking around downtown Bar Harbor, and had dinner at Blaze Taproom and Kitchen.
Union River Lobster Pot
It wouldn't be a visit to Maine without lobster! Only a 3 minute walk from The Jarvis Homestead, very highly rated, fresh, and locally caught seafood, hot boiled lobsters, mussels, clams, award-winning chowder, sweet lobster rolls, famous blueberry pie, and local Maine beers and wines, the Union River Lobster Pot has it all.
