U.S. Space & Rocket Center
Know as the “Rocket City", Huntsville, Alabama is where rockets were developed that put men on the moon. Monte Sano State Park
Monte Sano, Spanish for “mountain of health,” rises more than 1,600 feet above sea level. Atop Monte Sano Mountain, the park's 340 acres feature 14 rustic cottages, picnic areas, Japanese Garden, hiking trails, planetarium, outdoor amphitheater, and country store.
Big Spring Park
The park is built around its namesake "Big Spring", the original water source that the city of Huntsville was built around. The Huntsville Museum of Art and Von Braun Center are located in the park.
