We're getting married (privately and celebrating publicly)!

Griffin and Averi met coaching special olympics gymnastics together at the park district in high school! They coached together for 4 years before they started dating.

Griffin surprised Averi with a picnic at one of their favorite walking paths near their apartment! He invited both of their parents to surprise her. They got to celebrate with wine and charcuterie after he got down on one knee!

Griffin always wanted a renaissance faire wedding, but Averi was a little hesitant to make that happen. To compromise, she surprised him with a proposal at the faire while dressed up (see gallery for reference)! It was a beautiful day!

If you look at our gallery, you will notice lots of pictures of us outside! We love taking weekend trips to new locations to hike and explore new towns. It wouldn't be a trip if there wasn't a cute coffee shop and a nice hike involved.
