Ohio State University
The Blackwell is on Ohio State's campus (right next to Ohio Stadium!) Take a stroll through the Oval, get a coffee at Thompson Library's Berry Cafe, or relax on a bench next to Mirror Lake! If you're looking for the true low-brow campus bar experience, try Out-R-Inn, Little Bar, The Library Bar, or Varsity Club.
Pistacia Vera
Our favorite bakery. Amazing cappuccinos and eclairs! We like to grab an iced Honey Butter Latte here then walk the dogs to nearby Schiller Park.
North Market Downtown
The North Market has tons of different vendors. It's a great place to grab lunch, coffee, or a souvenir. It's located near the Short North - an area with lots of shops, galleries, and restaurants. If you go here, take a stroll down High Street after!
The Book Loft of German Village
The Book Loft has been described by visitors as a "literary labyrinth" due to its maze-like 32 rooms of books connected by narrow passageways and staircases. You could browse this place for hours! It's the best.
Stauf's Coffee Roasters
There are a few locations around town. The Grandview location has the best food, the Victorian Village location has the coolest building (old church), and the German Village location has the best location with lots of other stuff to do nearby (like the Book Loft and Pistachia Vera.)
Greater Columbus Antique Mall
You could get lost in here.
Short North Arts District
The Short North is a cool area of Columbus - lots of shops, galleries, and restaurants. If you walk along High Street there's tons to do and see.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
If you have a couple of hours, check out Franklin Park Conservatory. It's an indoor/outdoor botanical garden with tons to explore.
Columbus Museum of Art
Paintings, sculptures, you know the drill.
Scioto Mile Promenade
This walking path cuts through downtown Columbus along the river.
Easton Town Center
Indoor/outdoor shopping center with retail, dining, movie theater, comedy club, fountains, etc!
