Welcome family and friends!

On the corner of Woodworth and Gulfway Dr. in Port Arthur, Tx is where we locked eyes. I was a PVAMU nursing student at home from college and Dezra was 5 years in as a firefighter. We both decided to help out in the community and provide service on that hot day in June for a fundraiser. Dezra sat next to me on the cooler and said "We've been out here for a while, how you doing"? ...and it started from there. On that day he didn't even ask for my number! I never thought I'd see him again until... After working a part-time shift at the grocery store, I went shopping while talking on the phone with my friend. Next thing I know, someone slams into my basket! If only you all would've seen my face. It was Dezra with a smile saying "Remember me"? He had me at hello. Five years later we are evolving and growing together. We're surviving a pandemic as a first responder and healthcare worker. We thank GOD for our relationship, family, and friends. We're getting married! Thank you all for supporting us.
