Where is the wedding located?

The ceremony, reception, and after-party will all be located at the Inn at Laurel Point.

When is the rsvp deadline?

Please RSVP by January 31st, 2025. This deadline will allow us to inform our vendors and plan accordingly.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail reception will be conducted outdoors. Dinner will be served in the Terrace Ballroom (indoors), and dancing and DJ services will be provided in the Spirit Rooms (indoors).

When does the wedding start?

We ask that guests arrive by 3:00 pm. Our ceremony will commence promptly at 3:30 pm. Late attendees will not be permitted to enter the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Due to planning restrictions and budget constraints, we can only accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. We hope you understand and look forward to sharing this special day with you.

Can I bring my child to the wedding?

To ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the celebration, we’re requesting that our wedding be an adult-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us for a wonderful evening!

What should I do if I have special requests or needs?

What are the options for food and drink?

Answer

We will be finalizing our menu with the catering team in January. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know so we can accommodate your needs. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be available through a cash/credit bar operated by the venue.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Victoria is well-connected through Uber and various taxi platforms. Attendees drinking and attending our wedding must independently plan for a safe ride home. For convenience, please see the below contact information for available taxis: Bluebird Cabs Ltd: (250) 382-2222 Victoria Yellow Cab: (250) 381-2222 For guests who wish to drive (and not drink), the Laurel Point offers secure underground parking for vehicles under 6’2′′. Their parking facilities also include multiple EV Chargers for electric vehicles. Currently the overnight parking fee is $26.00 plus tax for each night parked. Daily parking is $3.00 per hour to a maximum of $12.00 per day (7:00am to 11:00pm). Limited free street parking is also available on Sundays in front of the hotel.

Is there a dress code?

Formal wedding attire is recommended!

When does the wedding end?

Answer

DJ and alcohol services will cease at 12:00am (last call at 11:30pm). We kindly request guests (who are not staying the night at the hotel) to vacate the premises by 12:30am to abide by hotel rules and restrictions.

Can I stay at the hotel at the preferred rate for multiple nights?

Answer

Subject to availability, our preferred rate is available to guests the night before, the night of, and the night after the wedding! Please click the "Hotel Block" tab for additional information!

Is the ceremony unplugged (ie no electronics)?

Answer

Yes - we request all guests to turn their mobile devices off during our ceremony. Guests are not permitted to capture pictures or videos of the ceremony. We have a lovely photographer and videographer capturing our special day and will happily distribute available footage and photos upon request.
