Ryan and Avelina met the winter of 2022 while they were both travel nurses in Seattle, WA. They both attended a Glass Animals concert where there was a meet-up with other travel nurses afterwards at a bar down the street. Avelina attended the concert with one of her gal pals and Ryan initially thought Avelina and her gal pal were more than just gal pals ;) (He proclaims that it could have been a possibility-- it is Seattle!) and didn't make a move. Fast forward to the summer, Ryan and Avelina met again on a boat party that Ryan was hosting on South Lake Union for Ryan to discover that Avelina was indeed single and thus began their courtship. They've been adventuring ever since from taking travel assignments together from San Diego to Seattle to Portland and traveling internationally from Bali to Thailand to Banff. They're looking forward to a lifetime more of adventures together.
