We met at a local ice cream shop that Andrew worked at during high school. As soon as I saw him, I knew I needed to get to know him. After that, I kept going in with my friends and eventually worked up the courage to talk to him. Shortly after, we went to the movies for a typical first date. We both wanted to see Monsters University, but Andrew mixed up the times by accident and we ended up seeing half of Grown Ups 2. We both laughed it off and it the rest was history.

We had just graduated from college, and so we decided to take a trip to Europe to celebrate. A few of our close friends went along with us to Portugal. The first few days of our trip, I had been super super sick. Andrew was great about it the whole time. Our friends went out to breakfast, while we stayed in bed a little longer. Little did I know, they were scoping out the ideal proposal location. That afternoon, we were just out taking pictures (our friends are photographers) so I didn't think anything of it. Then, when the moment was right, he was down on one knee! And then we celebrated with some nachos!
