From Taylor’s perspective: Technically, Avery and I had been in each others lives without even knowing. We “met” at a summer camp in Edgard in 2006 and became friends and remained so ever since. We found out that our moms were classmates and eventually had even seen Avery in my baby book at one of my birthday parties when I was like 3 (obviously we wouldn’t have remembered that). After years of being friends, Avery finally took a leap and decided to come with me to a comedy show/concert that was coming to New Orleans (Wild’n Out). I didn’t have anyone to go with me so he said he would go. I honestly waited for him to cancel on me, but he didn’t! We started hanging out more and he eventually asked me to be his girlfriend.
We took a trip to Houston to celebrate my birthday (May 1st) and we had been to Houston prior and visited the Kemah Boardwalk (recommended by my cousin Mikey, thank you cousin❤️!) This time the visit became a little more special, Avery proposed to me under a beautiful gazebo where I cried hysterically! The rest is history! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you March 9th!
