Public Transit

F to Roosevelt Island; transfer to the Red Bus (free!) to Main St/The Octagon. It is a short 5 minute walk to The Sanctuary from here. Walk through the small parking lot of the Octagon (you’ll walk by tennis courts and a baseball field on your left, Octagon on your right). Turn right at the stop sign and follow the road down toward the river to reach The Sanctuary around the corner on your left; it’s a dead-end road. There is also the ferry and tramway! But no promises for an appearance by Tobey Maguire's Spiderman.

Driving

The Sanctuary is located in the northwest waterfront of Roosevelt Island, next to the Octagon residential buildings. Drive onto Roosevelt Island from Long Island City, where there is garage parking right when you come onto the island, or try metered street parking along Main St. as you near the Sanctuary address (851 Main Street). There is limited parking directly at The Sanctuary.

Parking

The Sanctuary has limited parking available, and someone will be present to direct you. Additional Roosevelt Island Parking Garage information can be found here: https://rioc.ny.gov/299/Driving Motorgate is the central parking facility on the Island. It is open 24 hours a day and accessible via the first right hand turn after coming across the Roosevelt Island Bridge.
