We were just two people in orange aprons at Home Depot…clocking in, dodging forklifts, spilling paint, and minding our business. Romance? Definitely not on the schedule, at least that’s what we thought! Then came my photoshoot..she showed up with her camera, for what she thought was just another day on the job. Turns out she was unknowingly shooting my birthday photos. I didn’t say anything at the time, but looking back, I’m pretty sure the shutter button hit us on that day. Fast forward to a causal lunch at Chipotle (because where else do love stories begin if not over burrito bowls and tacos), and things just started to click. Conversations flowed, laughter came easily, walls were breaking down, and we both knew something was happening. Surprisingly, it happened…the text (you know that unexpected text). Perfect…”If you’re looking for me, I’m not at the field anymore.” Translation? “This is your sign to come find me.” From there, we went on dates, took trips, did photoshoots, and continued to say yes and choose each other. After a year of building our foundation, we made it official, and we’ve been riding together ever since! It hasn’t always been sunshine and soft playlists. Real unconditional love? It takes work, uncomfortable talks, showing up even through the rough times, pushing one another, and a few arguments about where to eat. Through every high, low, laugh, and tear, we have grown, supported each other, and continue to build a deep, strong, and real love. Now here we are, still dancing, laughing, singing, and ready to keep choosing each other for life.
