Where is the venue and when is the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding will be on Monday, September 1st, 2025 at the Griffin House, which is located at 4168 Westcliff Dr, Hood River, OR 97031

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
The Griffin House does have about 20 parking spots if you prefer to drive. We will have a free shuttle to and from the venue and a few areas around Hood River!

Is there a shuttle to and from the wedding?
Answer
We will be providing a free shuttle to and from the wedding. Please let Ava/Sam know where you are staying in Hood River and we will let you know where the shuttle pick up spots are! There is no Lyft/Uber in Hood River. Please please do not drink and drive!!!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We are not having a hotel block, so you are welcome to book anywhere close to Hood River. We recommend that you book at The Hood River Hotel, The Best Western, or choose an Airbnb in/near Hood River. Check out our 'Travel' tab for a full list of recommendations!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 15 mins early to find a seat and grab a glass of champagne. We will have a shuttle service available for those who do not want to drive.

We love your kids, but this event is for adults only. We hope you understand that we’ve chosen to keep our celebration an adult-only affair.

What do I wear?
Answer
Garden Formal Attire: We avoid being uncomfortable and stuffy and think you should too! Our wedding will take place outdoors, surrounded by stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. It can be windy at the venue and will be cooler when the sun goes down. Lighter sweaters or jackets are recommended! For women, we suggest flowy dresses in fun colors, dressy jumpsuits. Shoes that are best for walking on grass. For men, a suit or dress pants with a blazer works well. Lighter colors (like beige, gray, or soft blue) complement the setting. Ties are optional, and dress shoes or loafers are recommended.

How long should I book my stay?
Answer
However long you can! Portland, Hood River, and the Columbia River Gorge are fantastic places to explore if you are visiting from out of town. You can even get to the Oregon coast in a few hours driving. We encourage our guests to make a vacation of this wedding. We encourage a Saturday - Tuesday stay, but stay longer or shorter if that is what works best for your schedule! We will be doing lots of fun Hood River activities starting Saturday morning! If you need help planning a trip around the PNW, we are happy to recommend things to do!
