Is there a dress code?

Answer

Guests should aim for Spring Formal attire. Women should opt for elegant floor length dresses and comfortable heels (please note that the reception will be on grass so a block heel or wedge is recommended) and men in suits and dress shoes.

Is there parking available near at the venue?

Answer

Ava & Nick will be getting married at Nick's Parents house in a residential neighborhood so street parking at the house is very limited. Please coordinate drop off and pickup!

Have you reserved hotel blocks for out of town guests?

Answer

Yes. The Hyatt Regency Downtown Jacksonville has a reserved room block for out of town guests.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all RSVPs be completed by February 10th, 2026! We have to give our vendors details on attendees to ensure the night is smooth so please make sure you RSVP by this date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are having an adults-only reception. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Since we are having our reception in a family home, we unfortunately have limited space. We wish we could celebrate with everyone but invites are addressed to those that are invited. When RSVP-ing, you can double check who is on your invite.

What time should I arrive for the wedding reception?

Answer

Please join us for cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 PM. Prior to this, Ava & Nick will be saying their private vows and taking portraits. Festivities will begin at 6!
