FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than 8/1/2025 by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP by that time, we will sadly assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

what do I do if I cant make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the reception, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

can i bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name on the invite. We want to keep our celebration intimate with closest family and friends!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big celebration! The official dress code is garden-attire. This is a backyard reception so sundresses, floral and lighter hues are perfect for the occasion.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Cocktail hour begins at 4pm so, we kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes before so you have time to park, sign our guest book, and grab a drink! The couple will make their debut around 4:30PM, followed by speeches, dances, and dinner.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

There is no parking at the venue itself, so we kindly ask guests to park along 124th St E or 274th—just be sure not to block any driveways or mailboxes. You may also park in the lot at the Early Learning Center, which is about a 0.5-mile walk from the house. We’ll have signs and friendly helpers to guide you. If needed, guests may be dropped off at the house before the driver parks. Please reserve the driveway for grandparents.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you. Please drink responsibly :)
