At 80 feet (24 meters) tall and perched 450 feet (137 meters) above Lake Superior, Enger Tower is best known for its spectacular views. From the top floor, you can see two states, two cities, and the endless expanse of the great lake.
Located at the far east end of Duluth, Kitchi Gammi Park was established to ensure public access to Lake Superior. The park, including its popular stone-covered Brighton Beach, was first developed as a campground for auto tourists in 1922.
Canal Park is home to the early-1900s Aerial Lift Bridge, which raises for ships entering the harbor basin from Lake Superior. The Lakewalk promenade passes a pebbly beach and landscaped areas, while the Great Lakes Aquarium has touch pools and a popular otter exhibit.
Our favorite pizza spot! Located in the new Lincoln Park area, this spot offers great pizza and brews.
