Iceland Itinerary
For those of you joining us in Iceland for our Wedding Ceremony, here are the details of our trip:
August 28th: Arrive in Iceland early, explore Raykjaik, and then head to our hotel (Ion Adventure Hotel), about 45 minutes east of there.
August 29th: Explore the Golden Circle, still staying at the Ion Adventure Hotel
August 30th: Head south to Vik, stopping along the way at scenic points (waterfalls, glaciers, etc.). Stay in Vik that night at Hotel Kria, where the reception will be held the day of the wedding. We do get a discount at this hotel, so if you're planning on staying there and haven't already told us, let us know!
August 31: Tour Katla Ice Cave during the day, finalizing wedding plans and potentially having dinner with everyone that night.
September 1st: WEDDING DAY!! Ceremony will be held on the Black Sand Beach around 9 am and there will be a small picnic following. The reception dinner will be that night, around 7 pm.
