We met at the First Baptist Church in DeKalb. Tim was a junior in high school and I was a senior. I remember coming to church on a night where laser tag was going on. It was in February of 2011. Instead of playing the game I just sat in the pews and watched Tim and talked to my best friend. Later that night I asked Tim for his phone number. I never knew that decision would have made my life what it is today.

Tim took me to Chicago to see the light and the huge Christmas Tree. I love Christmas I kept stopping to take pictures. I was standing on the stairs taking a picture of the huge Christmas tree downtown. When I walked down the stair I asked Tim's grandparents if they could take our picture by the tree I turn around and Tim was on one knee. I started to cry until I heard I guy yell "that guy is proposing". He asked me to marry him. And I of course said YES!
