What does Garden-Formal look like?

For the Ladies: Light breezy dresses in florals or light colors. Heels or sandals, whichever is comfortable. For the Fellas: Light colors. We ask that you wear pants to the ceremony but please feel free to change into shorts if you’d like for the reception For visual learners: https://pin.it/2q90cC80F

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at both Cornerstone and Valley Creek Cornerstone: There is free parking in the State Bank parking lot across the street. This may fill up as we pray it will be a fantastic summer Saturday. There is additional street parking around downtown Valley Creek: Parking will be directed as you pull into the venue. To get to the barn, there will be a trolley to ride or your party can walk. Please note the trolley will not be available to take guests back to their vehicles. Reception Rules

Answer

The venue we chose has given us a few guidelines that we ask you follow: Smoking & Open Flame: Guests are welcome to smoke in the front of the barn (North side) or by the fire pit. No smoking allowed under the porch or next to the barn. There are several receptacles for the placement of cigarette/cigar butts. Please refrain from smoking cigarettes/cigars or anything else in or near the barn. It is made of wood, accidents can happen. Additionally, no open flame is allowed under the porch or in the barn. Children: The farm is a wonderful place for kids to enjoy the day. Children must be attended to at all times by an adult. Dance Floor: We understand people get caught up in the fun and just take their drink with them to the dance floor, we ask that you please refrain from this and on your way to bust a move just set your drink on a nearby table and dance like no-one is watching.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding will be a dry event with no alcohol served. We will be serving water, lemonade, limeade for the refreshment hour and reception
