What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail. Ladies, please opt for tea-length, knee-length, or midi dresses. Men, please wear dress shirts and slacks. Try to find comfortable shoes for dancing later in the evening.

What will the weather be? Is the wedding outside or inside?

Answer

The weather is a bit unpredictable in mid-October, so layers would be ideal. The ceremony will take place outdoors, but the reception will be held indoors.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Pine Creek in Mt. Morris, IL and that will be followed by a reception held at The Moose Lodge in Freeport, IL.

What should we do after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

Our wedding colors are Burgundy and Sage green, but feel free to wear any color you desire. However, if you arrive dressed in white, you will be asked to leave.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive with plenty of time, so we can start the ceremony on time.

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is a parking lot provided and there is also handicap accessible area to drop off people who prefer to not use the stairs.

Can I bring a date? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #GrandTheftLoveLarsony so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
