We met at Florida State University where we were in the same conducting class. I had a huge crush on Kiko for a long time before we actually ended up ever going on our first date. Kiko was completely oblivious to this, and I almost gave up! I caught his eye at a birthday party and his fraternity brother was the person who pushed him to make the first move. The rest is history!
Autumn and I lived together in Savannah in the 3rd year of our relationship after our jobs brought us there. Long story short, Savannah was not the place where we wanted to live our lives together, but it was the place I wanted to affirm our lifetime love for each other. I bought the ring about one month before the proposal and knew that I wanted to do it before we left Savannah in one of the beautiful historic squares. That day, I took Autumn to brunch at Collin’s Quarter inside the beautiful Forsyth Park before we walked to Monterey Square where my brother and some of my closest friends were waiting to witness and capture our beautiful moment. I was so awkward when I asked her, but it was the easiest question I have ever had to ask!
This one is a work in progress! We are beyond excited to celebrate with you in April.
