Hope and Autumn are celebrating our 30th year of friendship! All through high school Autumn would also attend Hope's school functions, even went to their "prom". They were inseperable! The summer Autumn graduated high school they lived together and started making plans to move to Myrtle Beach, they even had totes filled with stuff they bought for their new apartment! Then they went to a party their friend Scott was throwing on Aug 4, 2009 and everything fell apart and fell into place in the same second. Autumn seen Justus, grabbed Hope's hand, and said "I'm going to marry that man." The rest was history!

Reanne and I were in the 4th grade together, it was a small AP class so it was a forced friendship, but a friendship nonetheless. I left the school district and we never seen each other again. She left for Cali and I got married and moved to Florida. One day while Justus was back in Michigan he went out to dinner "the guys" and one of his best friends (Nelson) brought along his new girlfriend. After some back and forth with Justus, she figured out we were married and she was the model I always showed him pictures of! I came home a few months later and somehow it felt like we had stayed best friends since the 4th grade.

We met Sarah a few months after moving to Florida in 2009, we all instantly clicked. We even lived in the same apartments as each other. She was Autumn's rock and got her through everything for those 5 years in Florida. After a fast friendship they decided to go to college together and that was a nightmare/blast! Justus and Autumn even spent a week with her family in Miami and her parents welcomed us as just two more of her children! She was one of the reasons Florida wasn't so awful after all.

Autumn and Sara's friendship started weird, which perfectly sums up their friendship and its been a wild ride every since. The first time they ever actually had a real conversation was when Justus and Autumn had just moved to Moore, Oklahoma and Sara called Autumn drunk from Manhattan over 7 years ago. That phone call solidified a bond that could never be broken. Autumn and Sara's quote is "You're my person." You guessed it, from Grey's Anatomy.

Autumn and Justus met Ceci (CJ) in UPT in Enid, Oklahoma while training to fly C-17s. The second Autumn knew that Ceci and her were going to be fast friends was when Justus came home and told Autumn "CJ wants to know how you did your hair". Ceci made the two grueling years of pilot training well worth it. Autumn even moved in with Justus and Ceci while they continued 3 months of training in Altus, Oklahoma. She's always been more than just a friend to us, she's been our sister!
Rachel Batman

We went to Meckley's Flavor Fruit Farm with Scott and his two daughters, Kennedy and Charlie (aka Genevieve), Robbie and Kendall. That's when we finally met Rachel. We had a fun filled day of hayrides, pumpkin picking, apple cider, donuts, the petting zoo and just some amazing conversations. 3 years later Scott and Rachel came to visit us a month after we moved to Dover, Delaware last year. Justus and I quickly realized she was the one for Scott and also quickly realized we wouldn't live without her in our lives.

Jessika and Autumn met in 2003 when Autumn had just started at a new high school and she was the first one to make Autumn feel welcomed. They would take car rides and turn the radio up as loud as they could and just drover because it made everything in life seem like it was going to be okay. It was a bond that can never be broken. She was suddenly and tragically taken from this earth and her loved ones on December 8th, 2009. Almost 10 years later and she's still one of the biggest parts of Autumn's life and still tries to make her proud.

Valerie came into our lives at an interesting time and she turned out to be one of our biggest blessings! She more than a dog or a pet, she’s our child.
Scott Bugbee

Scott and Justus have been friends for a long time, since 1st grade. We did everything together. It's a friendship that has really been a solid foundation in our lives. It's the type of friendship that has become family. Autumn met Scott a few years later, around the middle school timeframe. The cool thing about this is that Justus and Autumn were friends with Scott independently from one another. Scott has been there from the very beginnings for both of us and I can't think of any one better to be the Best Man.
Kendall Khon

Kendall and Justus have been with each other practically their whole lives. Kendall and Justus started at Jackson Christian schools at the same time. Though Justus switched schools for his high school years, there was a point that Justus would spend entire summers over at Kendall's. They were even collage roommates when they both started Spring Arbor University at the same time. Again, truly a friend who is family.
Nelson Cartwright

Nelson, a brother if there ever was one. Nelson and Justus didn't become friends until about halfway through high school. Nelson was a friend of Scott, Nelson, and Robby since they all still attended JCS together and Justus was at Western High School at the time. One day the guys were coming over to hang out and asked if they could bring their friend Nelson along. Justus agreed, but to be honest didn't really care for Nelson at first and the feeling was mutual. That didn't last long, since then Nelson has become one of his closest friends, whom he loves like a brother.
Derek Bray

Now I know this is confusing, but Derek is Justus' actual brother. This day wouldn't be complete with out him. Derek and Justus have always tried to look out for one another. They have seen the good and the bad together which has only brought them closer through out the years. It's only right that Derek stands with Justus on this day as a true representation of the love and support that they have for each other.
Doug Bray

Doug is also Justus's actual brother. There is a slight age difference between the two of them, to be more specific Doug is Justus's half brother, so Doug had moved out of the house before Justus was ever born. This however didn't stop the strong relationship they have. Doug has been a major role model for Justus since the very beginning and has always been there for support, encouragement, and advice for him.
Robby Guise

Robby, the rock. I say that because Robby is the one who has always been there for all of us from the very beginning. He has been the one who will drop everything to help you out. He truly cares, and always has. He's the one you go to for advice and the shoulder you cry on when life hasn't been the easiest. Robby is an amazing friend but an even better brother to everyone. This is why we have asked Robby to officiate, because of his central role in all our lives, we can't think of anyone better to bring us together.
