Our Story
This story starts in 2023 at Cultivate, our church’s coffee shop on Andringa Street.
Autumn was a regular at this unofficial HQ for many of her friends. Jandré was also a fixture with a book-lending system. With rules. And structure. And a Google Form for applications. This immediately raised curiosity and mild concern for Autumn.
They started having “reading dates” (platonic, allegedly). Except Autumn doesn’t read quietly. She narrates and comments. Jandré tolerated this… briefly, until a proper “get-to-know-you” coffee followed – essentially a friendship test, which Autumn passed with distinction.
On 1 April 2024, Autumn received her official girlfriend certificate.
After a brief hiatus/fever dream toward the end of 2024, her certificate was reissued on 21 January 2025.
On 6 December 2025, Jandré upgraded Autumn to fiancé!
