Autumn and Jacob met while the two worked as servers at Sage Hill Inn in Kyle, Texas, in 2018. Autumn was still pursuing her degree while Jacob was soon to graduate. The pair clicked instantly, meeting up at The Square for social drinks, discussing the latest hip-hop releases, and playing basketball at all hours of the night. Their friendship grew into romance and the two began dating in the Fall of 2018. Since then, the duo has made many memories and gone on countless adventures together with friends and family. Autumn has also earned the trust and love of Jacob’s beloved dog, Rita, which she considers one of her biggest accomplishments. Jacob and Autumn have carried out an annual tradition of snowboarding in Colorado every early Spring for 4 years now. The trips have helped the two share their interests and bond with friends. The couple also travels with the Mason family every Winter as it’s become a tradition as well. The family has ventured to New York, Chicago, Park City and Lake Tahoe together. In addition to traveling, their love for sports and staying active has helped bond the two. They love playing any sport available and jump at the chance to try new things. Just ask them about who’s winning in their running H-O-R-S-E competition and a fun conversation will ensue (hint: it’s Autumn). Autumn and Jacob excitedly look forward to their marriage and the blending of their two amazing and loving families!

On Friday, October 25, 2024, Jacob took Autumn to dinner at the place they met — Sage Hill Inn. He ordered them two glasses of wine to have in hand so they could “walk around” the property. Little did Autumn know what the purpose of this “walk” really was. Jacob led Autumn down a trail that led to an overlook of the surrounding hill country. They eventually arrived to the spot, and Jacob took a knee. As soon as Autumn realized what was going on, emotions swirled. She said “yes, of course” and the two celebrated their biggest and most important day together yet. They finished the night with phone calls to friends and family (and a little bit of bubbly!). Autumn’s best friend, Emma, hid in the bushes during their proposal and captured the amazing photos you see on this website. The couple is very thankful for her services! Now… let’s do the dang thing!
