FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

We will be getting married at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel and then driving a short distance to an Airbnb home for the reception. Please reference the invitation for the schedule and the addresses.

Question

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Please arrive at the gate at 4pm. It is estimated that it will take 10 minutes from the gate to arrive at the chapel. Please allow enough time to arrive at the chapel for a 4:30pm ceremony start time. Time is of the essence!

Question

Can I bring additional guests?

Answer

Unfortunately, this is a small ceremony with a set number of guests. We can only accommodate those that were addressed directly on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we do love you and your kids, due to the intimate wedding size, this will be an adult-only event (except for the flower girl). We would love to catch up with the kids another time!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors?`

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at the chapel. We will then travel to the reception location which is an Airbnb home. Parts of the reception will be indoors and outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

While we do not have hotel blocks due to the size our the wedding, we recommend staying in Greer or Greenville at local hotels. If you are feeling adventurous, find a local Airbnb close to ceremony and reception addresses provided on the invitation.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have a buffet/family style dinner with good food, family, and friends.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will provide minimal alcohol on a self serve basis (no bartender). The bride and groom love margaritas so you can expect some tequila and limes. If you would like to bring your own beverages, please be mindful that this a respectful event and your actions should reflect that. Please drink responsibly.
