Dewey & Autumn met at Morehead State University in their First Year Seminar Class on the first day of college. They both vividly remember seeing each other, but wouldn’t become friends until later. They initially bonded over their disdain of Gen Chem 1 but kept in touch as their friend groups grew closer. They began taking a majority of classes together, as their majors aligned. Dewey ended up asking Autumn to be his girlfriend on January 1st, 2018, a few minutes after midnight on the Ferris Wheel in Pigeon Forge.

Dewey & Autumn spent a wonderful week in Colorado in the summer of 2021 before they both headed back to school for the summer. Dewey proposed to Autumn in Rocky Mountain National Park, on Rainbow Curve. This is her favorite spot in the entire world.
