It’s happening! (finally, thanks COVID)

For some crazy reason we both decided to do cross country in high school. Which led to lots of practices and weekend meets around each other, but for the first half we were just teammates. Then, something changed and I was suddenly driving Danny home everyday from practice to spend a little more time with him. Then, after lots of coy flirting Danny romantically asked me out on his driveway by saying, "so should we make this thing official?" on April 25th, 2012 (he has always been so good with words). From there it was history, we both went to seperate colleges and spent lots of time on the road to see each other to deal with the long distance. After over 6 long years of dating, Danny got down on one knee on Christmas Day 2018 and popped the question! It was the best day - until May 22nd, 2021.
