The Grand Canyon holds a special place in our hearts. Alex has been a search and rescue volunteer & canyon guide there for over 10 years, so it’s a landscape that’s deeply woven into his story. For us as a couple, the outdoors has always been where we feel most grounded, connected, and alive. We couldn’t imagine a more meaningful place to begin this new chapter — surrounded by nature’s beauty, quiet, and awe.
We’ve chosen to have a very intimate ceremony with only our chosen witnesses and mothers. It’s important to us that this moment reflects who we are as a couple — simple and deeply personal.
Your love and support mean everything to us. While we’re keeping our ceremony small and personal, we’re planning a honeymoon that reflects who we are — an adventure on the road with our dogs, exploring the outdoors in a camper van. If you feel moved to contribute to our honeymoon fund, it would help us create memories that align with what we value most: freedom, nature, and time together as a family.
While we’ve chosen not to host a large wedding or reception, we hope to celebrate with our friends and extended family in meaningful ways over time — through shared meals, visits, and the everyday moments that make up a life together. Rather than putting all our resources toward one big event, we’ve chosen to invest in our future and save for the next chapter — growing our family and building a home filled with love and intention.
We’re planning to capture the day through photos and will gladly share those afterward! We want everyone we love to be able to experience the joy with us in some way.
