They already lived together and knew where each other was most of the time. They had discussed marriage many times, they had even went to look at rings together. Autumn sent him photos of the ring styles she liked and when he was ready, Josh chose the perfect one. He devised a proposal plan with a close friend. The two couples planned to go to a concert together (Autumn's favorite band), but a snowstorm hit Grand Rapids and the other couple couldn't make the drive. Autumn and Josh still went, Josh still hoping to find the perfect time to pop the question. While the concert was amazing, he couldn't find the right moment. They returned home and he had to come up with a new plan. Fast forward four days later, they are at Autumn's parents house to celebrate her dad's birthday. Josh had brought the ring with him and when he felt it was the right moment, he got down on his knee, opened the beautiful little red box (upside down, of course) and asked Autumn to marry him.
