Question

What date should I RSVP by? What if I forgot to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 1st. Unfortunately, if we do not have your response by the 1st, we will be unable to add you to the final head count per our vendor and venue policies.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Depending on which direction you are coming from, the closest hotels that we would recommend are about 25 to 40 minutes away from the venue. Located in St. Joesph there are Tru by Hilton or Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriot St. Joesph/Stevensville. In Paw Paw there is Baymont by Wyndham Paw Paw or Comfort Inn Suites. In Kalamazoo there are many to choose from, however the closest would be TownePlace Suites by Marriott Kalamazoo or Hampton Inn & Suites Kalamazoo-Oshtemo. Due to the various options we do not currently have a hotel block. If you are traveling in a group be sure to also look into Airbnb and Vrbo.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

With October in Michigan being unpredictable, we currently have our ceremony set to be outside with the reception being inside the venue. If weather decides to change, the ceremony will move inside. There is both AC and Heat within the venue as well. Just remember to dress accordingly.

Question

Is there a dress Code?

Answer

We would like guests to wear dressy casual attire. Preferably no hoodies, ripped jeans, or leggings etc. due to the nature of the event. Our wedding party colors are ivory, black, and dusty lavender.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one or children?

Answer

We regret to inform that we cannot accommodate extra guests beyond those specified in the invitation you have received. We kindly ask for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. There is a set head count due to venue guidelines.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask that everyone please be fully present in the moment and respect our wishes for an unplugged ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer who will take plenty of photos and video for us to share with all of you when it is completed. However, after the ceremony is done and we have walked back down the aisle you can do as you please! Also, please be mindful of vendors throughout the evening so that they are able to do their jobs with ease.
